After Effects Export Text

Export text out of Adobe After Effects as a .txt file. Select a single layer, multiple layers, or even an entire composition! This script extracts the text from all text layers and saves the text to a single text file.

Great for proof-reading and translation of projects, as well as extraction of After Effects text for use in other programs. Export a text file to send to a client for approval, or to a translator for language translation of a project. Export text and then import into Illustrator for finer typographical control.

This script searches within nested compositions, so you can easily export all text regardless of how many levels of hierarchy you have within a project. It even exports text within layers with keyframed Source Text.
